I'm really impressed by all the info on this board about how to salvage damaged doll hair. Has anyone tried to dye an AG's hair a different color instead of just replacing it? If not, does anyone have a dark brown shoulder length (or chin length) pageboy wig with bangs for an AG doll that they would either like to swap for a brand new GT21 honey blonde wig or sell?

I really don't think it would work. Dyes have to soak in to something in order to "stick." If you look at dyes they will say to only use natural fibers because the dye has something to soak into (like cotton).
There are temporary dyes that work on dolls' hair, but they make a real mess. For example, hair mascara works on doll hair, but it's not permanent.

That's what I thought. (Sigh) Guess I'll have to order a new wig for her. Thanks for your responses!
